Его старший сын Мэтью женат, живет со своей семьей в Испании. Второй сын Майкл окончил Королевский колледж в Галифаксе, Канада, и теперь учится в у ниверситете Лондона, Онтарио. Третий сын Сэм заканчивает школу в Торонто, а дочь Ханна живет с ним и его второй женой в Новой Шотландии.
